Running Bear is a cozy getaway cabin located in Wears Valley minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country and other exciting attractions and dining in Pigeon Forge. When its time for exploring the area you have only a short drive to Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park or if a round of golf is in your plans the Gatlinburg Golf course is nearby in Pigeon Forge.
The southwestern decor of this beautiful cabin is charming and welcoming for your special time together. It is high up on the mountain with one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the Smokies you will find. In the mornings you will wake to a gorgeous sunrise and when night comes enjoy the magical twinkling lights of cabins throughout the mountains and the lights of Pigeon Forge.
The main level of the cabin features a Wood Burning Fireplace to enjoy as you relax after your daily activities and there's also entertaining things to do while at the cabin such as a 27" Flat Screen TV with DVD/VHS, HBO, Showtime, Starz, Sports Package and Local channels, Standup Arcade Game, Boom box with CD Player, Xbox Game System, Board Games, DVDs, CDs, VHS Tapes, Electronic Dart Board and Binoculars to view those distant items of interest. On this level there also a Jacuzzi, a full bath with shower/tub and wall mounted hair dryer, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There is also an outdoor charcoal grill conveniently located for cooking your favorites.
The second floor loft has a Queen bed with such a terrific view of the mountains that you may not want to lie down to sleep. It also has a half bath with wall mounted hair dryer, 32" flat screen TV with Satellite, DVD/VHS combo,
Clock/Radio with CD player and walk in closet.
Step out onto the back deck and enjoy the fabulous views as you relax in the Hot Tub, dine at the Bistro Table or just let time pass you by in the Swing.
