Smoky Mountain Lake House is an eight bedroom, four and a half bath, exquisite house that sits on the bank of Douglas Lake and accommodates sixteen.
The front door opens to a grand foyer and hallway. On your left is a gentleman’s den that includes a bar and a pub table with leather stools. To your right is a formal dining room that features an elegant table for eight and a gas fireplace. This opens up to the fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, it has a large island with two stools in the center, double oven, counter top stove, built in desk with a chair and a dining table for four. The hallway from the front door passes by the majestic staircase that leads to the upper level, stairs to the lower level, the main level master bedroom and the half bath that is open to the living room. The living room has built in shelving to showcase the flat screen TV that has Direct TV, a DVD player and integrated surround sound with a sofa and love seat. The French doors lead to the covered back deck with a high top table for two, wicker settee and hot tub that overlooks the back yard which is equipped with a swing set and slide. Where the living area opens into the kitchen there is a hallway that has another set of steps to the upper level, a door to the garage game room and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. The garage game room has a ping pong table, mini basketball game, foosball table, dartboard, stereo system and a table with six chairs. The master bedroom on this level has a King poster bed, with a TV with integrated surround sound, a closet, a French door to the back deck and a bath with double vanity, a jetted tub for two and a large shower.
The upper level has three bedrooms and a kid’s haven. The first bedroom has a King sleigh bed, writing desk, 37” flat screen TV with DVD and integrated surround sound, closet and dresser with mirror. The second also has a King bed, dresser with mirror and a seating area with two chairs set in front of a 41” flat screen TV. The third bedroom has a Queen bed, dresser with mirror and a 37” flat screen TV. There is a shared bath with a double vanity and a shower tub. Cross over the catwalk that looks down into the living room to the kid’s haven. The kid’s haven is three complete areas and a full bath with shower tub. As you enter the kid’s theater including five theater seats around a 51” flat screen TV with DVD player. One room has two twin bunk beds with an extra play room with a play tent. The last room is down the hall past the bath and up a few steps to the perfect princess tower bedroom featuring a twin bed and shelves of toys.
The lower level has two bedrooms, Home Theater room, game room and a full bath with shower. Both bedrooms have Queen beds, closets, dresser with mirror and an armoire that encases the TV. The game room features a pool table, pub table for two, bowling shuffle board table, leather sofa and a bar with four leather stools. The Home Theater room is truly amazing with its 14’ projection screen, 7.1 surround sound system including two 15” subwoofers and a Blu-Ray DVD player; the ideal place to relax on one of the tiered sofas and experience a movie. The French doors from the game room or the home theater room lead out to the lower back deck with a swing and direct access to the back yard.
