The Pigeon Forge theme park is extending its summer hours for more vacation time and family fun in the Smokies. From June 14 through August 3, the amusement park will be open from 10:00am to 10:00pm each night for the Great American Summer festival at Dollywood.

Each morning of the summer celebration, a flag raising ceremony will include the national anthem. Along with the shows, rides and attractions open during the entire 2014 season, there will also be a nightly fireworks show. Dolly’s Nights of Many Colors will light up the sky, along with music and songs written specifically for the summer celebration.

Also during the six week summer celebration, Great American Country (GACTV) and Dollywood will team up to present performances from legendary artists, video appearances from GACTV personalities, singers and a 6 piece band. This show will run from May 24-October 18.

To enjoy the Great American Summer at Dollywood with your nearest and dearest in the Smokies, Timber Tops Luxury Cabin Rentals provides Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge cabins with fire pits, stunning views and all the comforts of home, just minutes from the park.
