Winterfest Brings Winter Magic to the Smokies

It’s that time of year again! With the cool breeze, vibrantly colored leaves, and Christmas just around the corner, there is no better place to be this winter than in the Smoky Mountains. To help celebrate the changing of the seasons this year, the city of Pigeon Forge will be hosting their 24th annual Winterfest Kick-Off.

The Pigeon Forge event will kick off on November 12 at 4:30 p.m. with the third annual Salute to Veterans Parade. The parade will begin at Traffic Light #7, and work it’s way down to Traffic Light #10 at Patriot Park where city officials will be ready to ‘flip the switch’ to millions of LED lights and winter magic in the Smokies. The key note speaker for this year’s parade is former NFL player and Vietnam Veteran Rocky Bleier.

Other fun and exciting activities at the Pigeon Forge event will include live musical entertainment, food, kids activities and more. The evening will conclude with a stunning fireworks display.
