Experience Thrills Like Never Before at New Pigeon Forge Attraction

The Smoky Mountain’s newest roller coaster is now open! The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is the first Alpine Coaster in the United States. Opposed to other roller coasters in the area, this Pigeon Forge attraction uses gravity and force to navigate it’s guests around the track.

On this new and exciting Pigeon Forge attraction, guests will fly through the one mile long track on their specialty Alpine Coaster sleds. Speeds top out at an average speed of 27 miles per hour.

The only riding requirements for the new Pigeon Forge attraction is that riders must be at least 56 inches tall and weigh 375 pounds or less. The weight requirement is for the total weight of the sled as each of the sled can support up to two passengers.

Guests can find the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster at 867 Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge, TN. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. daily. Rides run rain or shine.

Tickets for the Pigeon Forge attraction are $15 for adults and $12 for children per ride. Children ages three to six are $5. All prices include tax. Be sure to check out their special packages page for great wallet saving deals for multiple rides and groups.
