Gas or wood burning fireplaces are not available for use from May 1 to October 1. The use of fireplaces during the warmer months has a negative impact on the Great Smoky Mountains eco system and puts a great deal of stress on your cabin's air conditioning system. This could lead to loss of air conditioning during your stay.
