Since opening it’s doors in 2004, In The Wild Gallery in Gatlinburg has supplied Smoky Mountain visitors with a unique array of high-quality hand crafted wares. Items in the Gatlinburg galley include vibrant paintings, quilts, ceramics, pottery, jewelry and more.
The quaint Gatlinburg gallery showcases the masterful art work of local artist Doreen Prakshot. Prakshot has won several art awards both locally and nationally including three distinguished media in fiber awards from the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg. Prakshot has also had the honor of being a featured artist for the Gatlinburg art school.
A lot of Prakshot’s work draws inspiration from the majestic trees and natural wildlife that the Great Smoky Mountains are known for. Whether the piece captures an old owl on a tree, or a beautiful wild flower, guests to this Gatlinburg gallery will find it hard to walk away without finding something they love.
Have an idea of a new painting you would like hung in your home? Prakshot accepts commissioned prices. All potential buys have to do it swing by the shop, or contact her on her website to begin the creating process.
