Luxor: stone carvings of the pharaoh and his wife

The Tomb Egyptian Adventure takes guests out of the Smoky Mountains, and places them in the heart of Egyptian mythology. Guests enter the door’s of the Pharaoh’s tomb, and from there are faced with a series of challenges and quizzes before finding their way to the end.

With the assistance of a guide, visitors to the Pigeon Forge attraction work as a group to solve the puzzles inside the tomb. Described as a “full-immersion adventure” from the Boston Globe, excursions inside the tomb typically last 45 minutes depending on the size of the group.

The Tomb Pigeon Egyptian Adventure is located inside Walden’s Landing Town Center at traffic light #2B. Open seven days a week, tickets to the Pigeon Forge attraction are available for purchase on their website, as well as inside the location itself. Reservations are recommended. Tickets are $13.99 for adults and $10.99 for children ages 4-12. To find out more information about any group specials or special events, give them a call at (865) 453-6450.

Teachers, be sure to swing by the Pigeon Forge attraction the week of September 15-29 for School Appreciation Week. Every educator visiting The Tomb that week will receive complimentary admission to both the Egyptian attraction and MagiQuest.
