The Thanksgiving holiday is a wonderful time of the year to gather up your family and spend some quality time in the Great Smoky Mountains. The area is especially beautiful at this time of year, and there are several Smoky Mountain restaurants that are open for Thanksgiving. Here are five of our favorite places to have a holiday meal:

1. Seasons of Ober Loft & Lounge

Experience breathtaking mountain views while you enjoy your holiday dinner at this restaurant perched high above Gatlinburg. Expect traditional fare along with regional homemade sides and special signature desserts.

2. Old Mill Restaurant

This restaurant is famous for its excellent southern cuisine and generous portion sizes. Enjoy all of your holiday favorites on Thanksgiving and signature dishes such as the popular homemade corn chowder. Be sure to save room for their made-from-scratch pecan pie!

3. Holston’s Kitchen

This is a casual dining restaurant with a commitment to providing each customer with an exceptional experience while keeping prices at their most reasonable. Expect a traditional Thanksgiving feast along with many of the signature appetizers, sides, and desserts popular at this location.

4. The Park Grill

5. Mama’s Farmhouse

If you want to feel like you are at home for Thanksgiving, then come enjoy your holiday meal at this truly southern restaurant. Don’t expect a menu, but you should expect an abundance of delicious Southern food served family-style. It’s an all-you-can-eat experience filled with all your favorite holiday foods. Children age five and under always eat free.
