Here are 5 of the best pet friendly Smoky Mountain attractions for you and your pet to explore together.

Take a trip to The Village , one of the Smokies’ most unique shopping destinations, with your furry friend! This collection of 27 boutiques, galleries, and restaurants is set in a European-themed, village atmosphere. You and your pup can take a relaxing stroll past all of the shops, just be sure that you keep your pet on a leash at all times.

2. The Gatlinburg Trail

You and your pet can experience the beauty of the Smokies together when you visit the Gatlinburg Trail , one of 2 trails in the national park that is pet friendly. This trail travels 1.9 miles one-way from the Sugarlands Visitor Center to the outskirts of Gatlinburg. It’s relatively flat making it an easy walk for all skill levels. This trail is rich in history and offers views of foundations and chimneys of several old homesites. It also runs alongside the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River and passes through peaceful wooded areas.

3. Patriot Park

Patriot Park is a great place to spend some time with your pet! There’s a half-mile walking trail for the two of you to explore. Along the path, you’ll see flags from all 50 states as well as several memorials. Special events like music festivals and bluegrass concerts are also hosted here, so you and your furry friend can enjoy those together too.

4. Hard Rock Cafe

The Hard Rock Cafe has been serving Eastern Tennessee locals and visitors alike for many years. One of the best things about this restaurant is that they offer a pet friendly, outdoor patio where you can dine with your dog. The staff will make them feel like a guest of honor and will even bring out treats and a water bowl. So, your furry friend can enjoy a tasty treat right alongside you!
