About Glacier Ridge at Dollywood

At this year’s Smoky Mountain Christmas , step inside the magical winter wonderland of Glacier Ridge. Glacier Ridge is full of twinkling light displays, and even a 50-foot Christmas tree! This new holiday area crosses through 3 separate areas of the park: Timber Canyon, Wilderness Pass, and Craftsman’s Valley. Visitors can stumble upon the beautifully decorated 50-foot tree in The Plaza at Glacier Ridge, which puts on a dazzling light show complete with your favorite holiday hits. If you enter Glacier Ridge from Timber Canyon, you’ll pass through the Arctic Passage, a 130-foot-long tunnel that includes a stunning array of light and color. When you walk through the Craftsman’s Valley section, you’ll experience a one-of-a-kind light installation that brings the aurora borealis to the Smoky Mountains. Glacier Ridge as a whole adds 1 million lights to Dollywood’s Christmas festival, bringing the total to over 5 million!
