The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair Returns With Even More Handcrafted Art

One of the most popular events in Tennessee is gearing up for its 39th year! The 2014 Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair will be held from July 18-27, and organizers are planning some surprises this year that your whole family will love. Head down to Gatlinburg during these ten days to view and purchase magnificent crafts made by artists from all over the nation. Quality and originality in craftsmanship are assured as each artist is approved by a jury of experts. Over 180 artists are expected at the fair this year. Location and Admission

The fair will be held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, located at 234 Historic Nature Trail near traffic light #8. The fair is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. There are several parking lots in the area within walking distance. The admission price is $6, but children under the age of 12 get in for free.

Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community

The 2014 Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is sure to be a hit. Artist’s booths will be set up throughout the massive convention center. Many artists will not only be displaying their work, but also demonstrating how they make their crafts and answering any questions you
may have. New to the fair this year will be a special children’s area. Children ages 2 and older will be able to participate in numerous crafting projects with the help of the Smoky Mountain Area Ministries. What is better than a homemade souvenir to remember this terrific experience?
