One of the newest attractions in Pigeon Forge, The Island is proud to invite guests to ring in the new year with a special midnight ball drop and fireworks show, live musical entertainment, tons of family-friendly fun, and a grand opening of the Pigeon Forge attraction’s $3 million Las Vegas-style water fountains in action. Open to guests of all ages, this special New Year’s event is definitely one you and your family will not want to miss!

What to Expect

Unlike any other New Year’s Eve experience in the Smokies, the staff with The Island in Pigeon Forge have put together a thrilling celebration that any family will love to experience. As mentioned earlier, the Pigeon Forge event will be filled with fun and family-friendly things to do, all of which lead up to an exciting midnight countdown to the Pigeon Forge attraction’s first ever ball drop and fireworks show.

VIP Experience

On top of all the fun and exciting available to guests already, Timberwood Grill is offering an exclusive VIP experience that treats guests to a private dj show, free food, a play card to Arcade City, a free pass to ride The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, drink specials, and a midnight champagne toast.

Ride The Wheel

Take your New Year’s celebration to a whole new height, literally, by treating your family to an exhilarating midnight ride inside one of The Great Smoky Mountains Wheel’s all-inclosed glass gondolas. Offering guests an unbeatable view of the Smokies, this wheel ride is sure to bring a New Year’s experience that you and your family will remember for years to come. Midnight wheel rides include drinks, chocolate covered strawberries, and the best view of the fireworks show.

Admission

Admission to the general New Year’s Eve celebration is free and open to the public. Cost of the VIP experience at Timberwood Grill is $50 per wristband, and guests must be at least 21 years old to partake in the champagne toast. The midnight rides on The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel range anywhere from $99-$300.
