Nothing beats a fun and exciting Smoky Mountain vacation when you are surrounded by the ones you love. With tons of attractions, shows, shopping, restaurants and breath-taking views, there is no question as to why over 9 million friends and families decide to visit the area every year.

Now, you have already taken the first step to enjoying a relaxing mountain getaway by booking a spacious Pigeon Forge cabin for rent or Gatlinburg cabin for you and your family to enjoy, but what is next? We at Timber Tops Luxury Cabin Rentals have compiled a list of a few packing tips to make sure that you have everything you need for the most enjoyable Smoky Mountain vacation possible.

For the Kitchen

Most of our cabins in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge come fully-equipped with the essential kitchen needs like a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, plates, and silverware. What you all would need to bring is your own food, possibly a few more pots and pans if you plan on cooking a lot, coffee, filters, spices, charcoal, and whatever else you need to prepare your favorite meal in your cabin rental. During the cooler months, some guests have opted to bring a crockpot or a slow cooker so they can enjoy a nice warm cup of soup in front of their cabin’s roaring fireplace. A corkscrew and bottle opener may also be a good item to add to the packing list.

For the Bath

Along with linens, towels are stocked in our cabins based on the number of guests listed on the reservation. We do suggest that families pack a few extra towels, just in case they don’t want to do a lot of laundry during their stay. You will also want to remember your favorite soap, shampoo, razor, medicine, lotion, band aids, extra bathroom tissue, and other essential toiletries.

For Entertainment

Most of our cabins come fully-stocked with everything you need to fill your entertainment needs. They have flat screen tvs, hd cable, high speed internet, bubbling hot tubs, and large back decks for enjoying the scenic Smoky Mountain view. What you all might want to consider packing is possibly a dvd player, your favorite gaming console, board games, a deck of cards, or your favorite book. In case you and your family decide to venture outside your cozy Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg cabin, you all will be pleased to find the countless amount of entertainment options in the area. For Cleaning

Similar to our kitchen utensils, most of our spacious Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge cabins come equipped with a starter pack of everything you will need. This includes a small sample of dishwashing detergent, paper towels, soap and more. We do suggest that you and your family pack an extra roll or two of paper towels, extra laundry detergent, cleaning wipes and trash bags.
