1. See a Christmas Show

One of the most popular activities during this time of year is to see a Christmas show. You’ll be entertained and get in the Christmas spirit at the same time! For the best dinner show, see Hatfield and McCoy Christmas Disaster and enjoy a delicious dinner and hilarious show at the same time. If you want to see the funniest holiday show in Pigeon Forge, head over to The Comedy Barn Do you love Christmas songs? Then you should go watch the Christmas show at Country Tonite . You’ll be amazed by the incredible costumes and music. You have plenty of shows to choose from!

2. Look at the Lights

Every year, you can enjoy Winterfest throughout the Smokies! In Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, you’ll see all kinds of holiday lights. The night is lit up by all of these incredible Winterfest displays. There are snowflakes on every telephone pole, and you can’t miss Santa and his reindeer. You’ll also see the characters from the 12 Days of Christmas, as well as some familiar faces of native animals to the Smoky Mountains! You can also enjoy the Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail, or enjoy a drive-thru light show at Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland!

3. Visit Dollywood

Many people’s favorite thing to do for Christmas in the Smokies is to go to Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas ! The entire park is decked out in colorful lights and huge trees. Get a picture with Santa and Rudolph. Find some of your favorite treats, from gingerbread cookies to peppermint hot chocolate. All of the shows will entertain you and put you in the Christmas spirit with familiar stories and songs. Every night, you can enjoy the Parade of Many Colors as floats drive by full of lights. Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood is an experience you don’t want to miss!

4. Enchanted Christmas at Anakeesta

The Christmas lights shine bright at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg! Not only can you enjoy gorgeous holiday lights and decorations throughout the mountaintop attraction during its Enchanted Christmas Celebration , but you can also enjoy a cup of hot chocolate around the fire and some tasty holiday treats. You’ll also have beautiful views of downtown Gatlinburg aglow with millions of twinkling lights. On select dates throughout the Christmas season, visitors can even enjoy breakfast with Santa Claus!

5. Watch a Parade

You can’t be here for Christmas in the Smokies without seeing one of the many parades in the area! The Gatlinburg Christmas Parade is very popular. You’ll enjoy all the handmade floats, seeing familiar faces, and listening to the bands that play as they march through the streets. The Sevierville Christmas Parade makes its way through historic downtown for a fun experience. The Townsend Christmas Parade puts you in the heart of the mountains. You’ll love any of these parades!
