One of the best things to do in the Smoky Mountains to cool off this summer is take a trip to Dollywood’s Splash Country ! This 35-acre waterpark has fun water activities for all ages, ranging from a relaxing lazy river attraction to thrilling water slides! If you have toddlers in your family, they will love splashing around in Little Creek Falls or exploring the interactive elements of the Cascades lagoon style pool. Older kids and teens can also get into the action with slides such as the Big Bear Plunge, Fire Tower Falls, Mountain Scream, and the Slick Rock Racer!

2. Go Snow Tubing at Pigeon Forge Snow

If you thought that snow tubing was just a winter activity, just wait until you step through the doors of Pigeon Forge Snow ! This indoor snow tubing facility is the first indoor snow park in the country and offers an entire hillside of snow tubing hills that are open all year long! Since the temperature inside is kept between a comfortable 60 to 70 degrees, you can just come as you are, even if you are dressed in shorts and a t-shirt! Pigeon Forge Snow also features a Snow Play area where you can build snowmen and snow forts, so be sure to visit this attraction when you want to cool off!
