1. The Peddler Steakhouse
The Peddler Steakhouse has been around since 1976 and has become a tradition for some families and couples who visit Gatlinburg. The atmosphere at The Peddler is different than you’ll find at other restaurants in the area. It’s great for a romantic meal for two or a nice, casual family dinner. At The Peddler Steakhouse, a peddler will stop by your table to allow you to choose your own steak, cut right right at the table before it’s prepared. Then, the steaks are served over Tennessee hickory charcoal. Their salad bar is actually one of the best in the area, too! Some tables have great views of the Little Pigeon River.
The Peddler is only open for dinner, opening at 5 p.m. nightly (4:30 p.m. on Saturdays). There is parking available at the restaurant.

2. Greenbrier Restaurant
The Greenbrier Restaurant building was actually built in the 1930s. In 1980, the building was opened as a restaurant for the first time. After it sold, it reopened in 1993 as the Greenbrier Restaurant you know and love today.
The Greenbrier Restaurant is one of the fine dining restaurants in Gatlinburg TN. They feature menu items that you won’t find in other restaurants in the area. Fresh meals are made daily and the chef has special features each day, too. Greenbrier Restaurant is known for their steak and seafood meals, but they also offer vegetarian items. The dress code is casual to fine dining. Kids are welcome and there are kid-friendly options on the menu. They have a private room that will seat up to 25 guests which is perfect if you’re visiting with a group or planning a group dinner.
They are only open for dinner, opening at 4:30 Tuesday through Sunday. Parking is available at the restaurant, too.

3. The Park Grill
The Park Grill is a great family restaurant located in a mountain lodge, featuring classic southern flavors. This Gatlinburg restaurant features artwork and decor from local area artisans to help share in the history and heritage of the Smokies. The Park Grill is located just a couple minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so it’s a great place to stop for dinner after a day in the park. They also have special dining areas for groups and celebrations.
They are open for lunch and dinner, opening daily at 11:30 a.m. There is parking available at the restaurant.

4. Cherokee Grill
Cherokee Grill is a mountain lodge restaurant in Gatlinburg known for their fresh fish and seafood, chicken and steak entrees. Try their very popular blue cheese grits or spicy macaroni & cheese with spinach! There is also a banquet facility available that can seat up to 200 people which is perfect for wedding receptions, family reunion gatherings or any other celebrations.
The Cherokee Grill opens Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant opens at noon. There is parking available at the restaurant.

5. Crystelle Creek Restaurant
Crystelle Creek is one of the top romantic dinner restaurants in Gatlinburg TN. It’s located just a little off the beaten path, but many call it one of Gatlinburg’s best kept secrets. They do have a children’s menu, so it’s definitely a family friendly restaurant also. Crystelle Creek has daily chef specials and homemade desserts. They offer a heated, enclosed porch with TVs which are great for watching sports or enjoying a more casual dining experience.
The restaurant can accommodate groups up to 75 people and they offer on-site catering for any events as well.
They are open for dinner each day, beginning at 3 p.m. Parking is available on site and there is also a Gatlinburg trolley stop right outside the restaurant, so you can easily take the trolley to our location.

6. Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que
Are you looking for more casual dining? Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que is the perfect place to grab up some delicious southern barbeque and relax for a little while with friends and family. They have a huge soup and salad bar with over 40 items and they have all of the barbeque meals you can imagine, straight from their hickory smoker.
Bennett’s opens at 11 a.m. daily and serves lunch and dinner. There is parking available at the restaurant.

7. Jimmy’s Smokehouse & Pizza Joint
For another casual dining restaurant in Gatlinburg, Jimmy’s is a great place to visit! They are family friendly and they have pizza, burgers, barbeque, and more. There is outdoor seating available which is great to enjoy a drink and appetizers in the summertime.
Jimmy’s is open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 11 a.m. There is lots of free parking available.
