While Pigeon Forge, TN may be most famous for its excellent moonshine distilleries, our Smoky Mountain city is no slouch when it comes to beer either. The Smokies are home to a few great breweries and numerous bars with extensive beer selections. This summer, beer lovers will have yet another reason to visit Pigeon Forge: Yee-Haw Brewing Company is coming to town!

The popular brewery recently announced that it is opening a brand new tasting room in the Smoky Mountains. The Yee-Haw location will be situated at The Island in Pigeon Forge, a wonderful shopping, dining, and entertainment complex located right off of the Parkway. Although an opening date has not been released yet, the official announcement indicates that the tasting room will start operating in June of 2018.

About Yee-Haw Brewing Company

Based in Johnson City, Yee-Haw Brewing Company is the largest producer of craft beer in East Tennessee. Since opening its doors in 2015, Yee-Haw has taken the beer world by storm, earning the title of Tennessee’s Top Brewery from Yahoo! Travel in its first year of operation. In 2016, the Yee-Haw Dunkel, a dark lager, took bronze at the World Beer Cup.

Yee-Haw is regionally known for its four flagship beers: the Pilsner, the Pale Ale, the Eighty Shilling Scottish Ale, and the aforementioned Dunkel lager. The brewery also offers a diverse selection of seasonal beers that will undoubtedly be available for tasting at the new location in Pigeon Forge. Visitors to the taproom at The Island will also have the chance to try Yee-Haw’s special high gravity beers, which feature a higher alcohol content and are only produced in limited quantities.
