On Dollywood show nights, the fireworks bloom over the valley while the porch fireplace keeps the chill off. Adventure Lodge at Laurel Cove is a 4,500 square foot modern mountain home on three levels with 4.5 baths, built for reunions, holidays and team retreats that want room to spread out. The main level centers on a great room where an oversized sectional with built-in recliners faces a two-story wall of glass and a gas fireplace. The kitchen has a gas range, a second wall oven and seating for the whole group, with a long dining table just beyond. Upstairs, two king suites with oversized private baths sit on either side of an open loft with bunks, a sofa and its own TV. Downstairs is where the name earns itself: a movie area with a kitchenette and wet bar, and a game room made for tournaments. Few cabins let you rack a game of pool and then slide the door open to a sunset over the Smokies.

The lodge sits semi-secluded on more than three and a half acres in The Summit on Bluff Mountain, with open lower and side yards and a sunset-side sightline across the valley to the range beyond. The lower flagstone deck holds the hot tub, Adirondack seating and a live koi pond, so evenings come with the sound of moving water.
