Handcrafted Gifts Made Right Before Your Eyes at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair

This yearly fall event in Gatlinburg attracts some of the best artisans and craftspeople from across America, and it is always extremely well-attended. Read on for everything you need to know!

When and Where

The 39th Annual Fall Craftsmen’s Fair will be held Oct. 9-26 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, which is located at 234 Historic Nature Trail in downtown Gatlinburg. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except on Sundays when it will close at 5 p.m. Admission is $6 per person, and children age 12 and under will be admitted free of charge.

What to Expect

At least 180 crafting experts are expected to set up booths where they will offer demonstrations of their unique skills, answer any questions from the audience, and offer their work for sale. Items will include handmade quilts, perfectly sculpted pottery, beautifully decorated ceramics, and unique drawings and paintings.

Live entertainment will be provided daily with an emphasis on country, gospel and bluegrass music. Shows will be held at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., except for Sundays when there will not be a 4 p.m. showing. Featured entertainers will include Tim Watson “The Fiddle Man” Oct. 9-17 and Dennis Lee and Band Oct. 18-26.
