If you are looking for something fun to do on July 4th this year, head over for July 4th in Gatlinburg “Stand Here” July 4th Fireworks Celebration! Voted a top 20 event by the Southeast Tourism Society, this year is sure to be a great one! Bring your chairs to downtown Gatlinburg, the fireworks will light up the skyline usually about an hour after dark, or around 10:00pm. The display is considered the grand finale to the Annual “First Independence Day Parade in the Nation” at midnight on July 3rd 2011 in downtown Gatlinburg.

You can see the fireworks from the downtown area streets, or you can view them from various hotel rooms in Gatlinburg, and cabins and chalets surrounding the area. As long as you have a good view of Gatlinburg, you should be able to see the fireworks. Come celebrate Independence Day and get ready for an amazing fireworks show!
