Ever since the well-known chef and restaurateur, Paula Deen, announced that she is planning on opening up a new restaurant at the Island in Pigeon Forge, it as if the southern belle is popping up everywhere. In addition to her new Pigeon Forge restaurant, Paula Deen will also be making a special appearance in the area later this summer, and now it has been announced that she will also be opening a shop in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg.

Unlike her other business venture in the Smokies, this new shop will focus more on the art of cooking Paula’s most famous recipes as opposed to serving them. When it is opened, the new store will carry brand new lines of cookware, cookbooks, spices, candies, as well as a variety of apparel items.

The new Gatlinburg shop is scheduled to open in mid-June, similar to the same time she will be performing her two day show in Pigeon Forge called Paula Deen Live! The new restaurant, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, is set to open later this summer.

For more updates on all things Paula Deen, be sure to follow her updates on her website, as well as keep an eye out on our blog and Facebook page!
