NightFlight Expedition is an amazing new attraction in Pigeon Forge that takes the thrilling elements of a roller coaster, water ride, and dark ride to create a unique experience that you won’t find at any other theme park in the USA! After boarding a 10-passenger boat, you’ll set out on an adventure that includes soaring over the Smokies, climbing a mountainside, navigating a mysterious lake, and plunging into whitewater rapids! All the action takes place in an indoor, climate-controlled environment so that you can embark on a journey rain or shine. The attraction is designed with a moderate thrill level so that everyone from families to thrillseekers will have a blast!
2. Ride Facts and Statistics
While riding NightFlight Expedition, you’ll travel along a track length of about a quarter of a mile, reach a top speed of 29 miles per hour, and be nearly 3 stories high at the highest track elevation. It’s all housed in a 44,000-square-foot facility, which is larger than 4 football fields! The attraction takes 5.5 minutes to complete, which includes the loading and unloading process. It was created so that families can ride together, and there is a minimum height requirement of just 39 inches to join the adventure!
