One of the most popular events is an annual wine festival in the heart of Gatlinburg. Wineries from all over Tennessee will be settling in the Smokies for a full day during the 2014 Smoky Mountain Winefest. Those attending will have the chance to meet winemakers and learn about the art of winemaking while sampling.

Scheduled for April 12, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, the event will be held on the plaza at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Anyone legal drinking age can purchase tickets to the wine festival in Gatlinburg for $20. With that, they’ll receive a wristband for sampling and a branded wine glass. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and the Gatlinburg Hospitality Association Scholarship.
