4. Historic Grist Mill

The story of the Old Mill began nearly two centuries ago when local farmers traveled to a newly built grist mill along the Little Pigeon River. In the early days, the mill was used for making meal and flour for cooking. The amazing thing is that the restaurant still uses the mill today to prepare the same ingredients! The Old Mill is one of the oldest continually operating grist mills in the country so be sure to snag a photo of it while you are in town!
